What is BAM! ?
It uses physical exercise and simple, powerful mindfulness practices to improve mental health.
BAM! can be implemented in any service and has already been effectively delivered in a wide range of contexts including with disadvantaged young people, children with learning disabilities, LGBTQ+communities, adults in recovery from addiction and carers.

BAM! Practitioner Training Programme PTP
The programme involves two and a half days of in- person training, plus a short online review session.
Deliver full BAM! sessions (30-60 minutes) to your service users
Deliver mini BAM! practices (12 minutes) as part of your own service activities
BAM! PTP will be especially useful for mental health practitioners, youth workers, teachers, social workers, keyworkers, psychotherapists and counsellors, mindfulness instructors, sports coaches.

BAM! PTP Overview
The first Training Day provides theory and key practice elements of a BAM! session, the second focuses on practising delivery and running BAM! safely.
Throughout you’ll continue to learn and develop your own mindfulness practice using BAM! home workout materials, aided by an online group review session.
The training concludes with a half-day session practising delivery and preparing you to use BAM! within your own service.

A former England U-18s rugby player, Luke left elite sports to train in mindfulness and study how contemplative practices supports high performance and mental wellbeing.
He now designs and delivers bespoke programmes for elite athletes, business leaders and teams, and grassroots communities. His education and training include a degree in Law and postgraduate diploma in Law & Community Leadership.
He spent six years working and living in a Buddhist context, managing Breathing Space, a secular mindfulness charity where he also taught mindfulness-based approaches. During this time, he was on mindfulness-based retreats for six weeks each year and completed advanced mindfulness training qualifications from Breathworks and has also participated in mindfulness inquiry method training at Oxford university Mindfulness Centre.

Miia is a former international tennis player who has since worked in the fields of executive coaching and sports performance coaching.
Miia is an experienced mindfulness teacher who has led the development of therapeutic models which have been researched and proven to positively impact psychological wellbeing and performance.
Miia is also an experienced supervisor, Chair, Trustee, and a Specialist Director for the charity Mind.

Emmanuel MPP’s lead boxing coach for both community and corporate programmes. He is a trained youth worker and safeguarding lead with extensive experience managing youth services across East London.
Emmanuel is an avid boxer and has been involved in boxing projects to teach young people defensive skills and engage them in discussions on safety and security, leadership and community cohesion.
